EDIT: It's been a year and after all the info that's come to light about the whole fiasco I still feel now like I did back then.
1) Jessica didn't kill anyone's mother, she was late on commissions, like millions of artists before and untold billions of artists will after her. It's none of anyone's business but her's and the people who HONESTLY had commissions still standing from her.
2) Jessica had something worked out with Camarella, whatever it was it's none of anyone's business.
3) jessica said she was someone she wasn't. It's the internet. We all do, get over it.
4) Jessica said she lived somewhere other than her real address. That's just common sense.
5) All in all, a lot of drama solely to amuse the 4chan anonymous crowd. The drama flakes danced to the anon tune and gave them a cheap giggle; I hope your mama's are real proud.

P.S. I altered none of my words below and in the comment section. I try to keep myself honest, even in my mistakes.

Normally I would let it speak for itself but it is a little ostentatious, so I'm going to point out a few things about the symbolism here.

#1 The amazon with the shield doesn't represent me, or an idealized version of me. It represents all of us who support Jessica Elwood for whatever reason.

#2 The arrows represent the proverbial 'slings and arrows of outrageous fortune' etc etc, finish the Shakespeare yourself.

#3 Big boobies. Just because!

Now, a thing or two on all this controversy.

First and foremost, Jessica did not commit art theft. That should speak for itself, but apparently it doesn't. People like to throw around the accusation of theft when what is actually happening is Copyright Infringement. They are not the same thing people, look it up.

Secondly, Jessica did not commit identity theft. Perhaps the pics she posted of her weren't her, but she didn't steal them, she was given them by a woman with the screen name of Camerella who knew exactly what they were for. If you're one of the people who point to Camerella's blog post claiming she didn't know anything about them, I say this:

Camerella SAYS she wasn't in on it, yet she set up the white backdrop to hide her room,. She admitted to posing with Jessica's drawings, she admitted she signed Jessica's name with greetings messages to Deviant Art as well as other sites. Camerella WAS pretending to be Jessica Elwood, she knew she was pretending to be Jessica Elwood. The fact that she's claiming not to know what the photos were going to be for is flat out not true. Maybe she didn't know who Jessica Elwood was exactly, but she knew she was pretending to be her.

In addition, Camerella has to protect the difference between her job and her non porn life. If she admits she knew what was going on she could lose both. This isn't proof that she DID know, it's just a VERY strong reason to question her word on the matter.

Point, the third. Commissions. Jessica has completed more commissions in her years on the internet than she has welched on. Therefore she's not making a living bilking people. granted it's very bad business practice to go for so long without even sending her clients a message, but it's still a very far cry from being a con artist.

4th point in a string of points. Jessica may be a man irl, Jessica is a Mexican, Jessica uses different accounts. Even if that's true so what?! Do you have a problem with Mexicans? Did you go on a date with her and she slipped you surprise kawk? What does it matter, AT ALL? I don't mean to imply that you're racist or sexist if you believe this, but my question does still stand. What does it matter? None of us, at all, are exactly who we say we are online, ever. In addition, some of us have very good reason o obfuscate who were are in the internet, so even assuming she did lie about being a female californian, what right do any of us have to call her out for it?

And lastly, if you have a problem with ANY of the things Jessica Elwood has done in her part of this controversy, try taking it up with Jessica Alba, who routinely uses a body double. Take it up with Stephan King, who frequently writes under a pseudonym complete with false author's photo. Take it up with Tom Petty, who frequently performs Bob Dylan's songs. Take it up with Johnny Cash, who performed a cover of NiN's 'Hurt'. Deal with it. This kind of identity and image obfuscation goes on every day in the entertainment business. If you REALLY care about what Jessica did, go take it up with the big dogs. If you are jumping on the flame Jessica bandwagon, but won't even comment when the celebrities do the exact same thing, then you're NOTHING but a net bully trying to get a piece of someone who's already down.

EDIT: [link] Proof that she IS resolving the commissions issue, from the page of the person that STARTED all this.

EDIT #2: Camerella has now flipflopped on weather or not she agreed to do the photo shoot in question AGAIN. Now her story is that she did do the photo shoot, but didn't know exactly who it was for because her photographer handles all that info.

EDIT #3: So it turns out Jessica Elwood really IS Martha Martinez from Mexico. but again, what does it matter? It's not like any of us use our real names as our screen names, nor do we publish our real addresses.

Thought the issue was she was stealing and claiming to be Camerella and Camerella called her out on it
